Adsorption technology utilizes different types of adsorbents (typically Activated Alumina, Molecular Sieves, Selective Adsorbents, Silica Gel, and Activated Carbons) and or Catalyst based on the water and/or contaminants that need to be removed. In most of the applications, the Adsorbents need to be regenerated by means of PSA or TSA unit.
Adsorption type sweetening / dehydration packages are designed for different applications (Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical) and different fluid (Natural Gas, Liquid Hydrocarbons, Syngas etc.), and may include various types of equipment & systems such as Heat Exchangers, Separators, Compressors, Pumps, Control Panel etc., which may all be packaged into a single skid for ease of installation.
Absorption is considered for the Natural Gas Dehydration/ Sweetening to meet pipeline Specification. These systems utilize liquids (TEG, DEG, MEG, Amine) to remove water or Impurities from the gas by physical absorption into the contactor. These Units include with the Regeneration System that includes various types of equipment & systems such as Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Heating System, Pumps, Control Panel etc., which may also all be packaged into a single skid for ease of installation.
